Here are a few things to remember:

- ideally remember to load your card (at the register) before your checker starts scanning your items.

- note, you can do a suspended sale after they total up your items...and then you can load the Script card.
- you don't have to go to customer service (although you can!).

- Better yet! The card balance is printed on each receipt.  Check the amount after your purchase and refill when needed BEFORE leaving the store.

- you can use your card for gas purchases through KS.
- Use your card for items purchased at Customer Service (movie tickets/ life tickets, etc.)
- Unfortunately, you can not purchase gift cards with your Scrip card.

 - a card with a penny or more in value will never expire and will never be charged a fee or devalued in any way.

 - a card with zero value will expire after 90 (or 30) consecutive days at zero value.  On Day 91 (or 31), the card will expire and can not be reactivated.  It's trash.  You have to get a new card.

- cards can not be loaded online or by phone.  You must load cards at a Kroger store, but you don't have to have the card with you.  So, for example, if your son or daughter is a college student in a distant location, you can give them a reloadable King Soopers card, then you can add money to the card at your local store.  You just need to know the complete 19-digit number shown on the back of the card.

- Write down the 19-digi card number and keep someplace safe.  Should the card get lost of stolen, King Soopers will transfer the funds stored on the card to a new card using the 19-digits as verification.

- don't forget to use your credit card when loading your Scrip card to get you your rebate, points, etc.
- don't forget to use your King Sooper card to get your KS discounts.

- this is a win/win for you and your student's team and SLAB!!
