Golfing for Gators Golf Tournament

May 31st was a beautiful day for golf at the Golfing for Gators Golf Tournament. We hope everyone had fun! We raised approximately $2,500 for the Boosters and the various SLHS sports, clubs, and activities. Congratulations to our winners for the day!

We would like to thank Legacy Ridge Golf Course for providing great facilities four our tournament!  We would also like to thank our hole sponsors  Dixon Golf, Fairway Indpendent Mortgage Corporation, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and Sparta Combat League.

Golf Ball Drop

Thank you to everyone who purchased golf balls for the 2018 Golf Ball Drop!  The participating SLHS sports teams, clubs and activities raised a total of $5,400 by selling almost 900 golf balls.

The Golf Ball Drop could not be a success without the combined selling efforts of SLHS students, faculty, coaches and administrators.   The results of the selling contests are:

Top Female Student:  Cassie Greenly - Poms with 75 golf balls sold

Top Male Students:  Syrus Beeson - Football with 58 golf balls sold

Top Team average sales:  TIE between Boys Golf and Poms with an average of 14 golf balls sold per team member.
