Other PRs achieved included Kendall Kinnard (19:53) and Jared Linford (20:03) Other strong runs from Varsity runners were made from Ryan Seberg (18:03), Lukas Klarich (18:59), Eli Student (20:31) and Logan Michalicek (21:01). The team came in 10th in a deep field.
Junior Varsity was led by Duncan Tilman (21:15) with PR times from Kameron Liao (22:50), and Corey Smith (24:48). Additional JV times included Robbie Nelson (21:53), Ben Salvo (22:02), Luke Larson (22:15), Cody Dewitt (22:16), Trevor White (22:19), Nathanial Kregar (22:30), and Gabe Bosse (28:45).

The girls' cross country team came up with a 10th place finish--despite being short handed--at the Castle View Sabercat Invitational in Sedalia this weekend. Emma Abernethy '17 led the way claiming an individual award with her 17th place finish in 20:50. Anna Nelson '17 shaved a few seconds off her personal record, running a 21:23 for 30th. Freshman Caitlin Adams had a HUGE day, taking 43 seconds off her PR and running a 22:17. Mone Mondragon '18, also PRed, running a 23:07. Also running were Veronica Petrillo '18 (26:58) and Hayley Davis '17 (28:54).
The Gator girls will be running again this Tuesday at the Pat Amato Freshman/Sophomore meet. The entire varsity squad will be eligible to run this meet and should be able to use this experience to their advantage.

The Varsity Softball team took on the Conifer Lobos at Standley Lake. The Gators got started with a 1-2-3 top of the 1st. Madi Schmidt (R, 2BB, SB) walked and stole 2nd. Julia Henderson laid down a sacrifice bunt to advance Schmidt to 3rd, and Ana Clouse drove Schmidt in with a sacrifice fly.
Samii Garcia blasted a homer to dead center to make it 2-0. The Lobos struck back with a single, stolen base, hit batsman, error, and a single to get it to 2-1. In the bottom of the 4th, Hannah Rose crushed homerun to right to make it 3-1. In the 5th, the Lobos closed it to 3-2 with a walk and double. In the bottom of the 6th, the Gators got going with a triple by Clouse (1-2, sac, R, RBI). Samii Garcia (1-2, HR, RBI, SB) was hit by a pitch and stole 2nd. Hannah Rose (1-1, 2BB, HR, RBI) walked to load the bases. Myranda Thrash (sac, RBI) drove in Clouse with a sacrifice fly. Rachel Couture (1-3, RBI) drove in Garcia with a single. Miya Vasquez (1-3, RBI) closed out the Gators scoring with a single to drive in courtesy runner, Jackie Paik. In the top of the 7th, the Lobos threatened loading the bases with 2 walks and a single. Pitcher Hannah Rose (2R, 5H, 5BB, 10K - season high) induced a flyball to right field where Emily Williamson made a running catch to seal the victory 6-2. The Gators improve to 3-14, 2-3 in the league.

Your Gators fell tonight in a two overtime loss to D'Evelyn HS, 2-3. D'Evelyn struck first, but your Gators evened the score at 1-1 with a goal from Kyle Iftodi ('16) assisted by Jesse Schoenes ('15). D'Evelyn pulled ahead, but your Gators evened the score at 2-2 with a goal from Nick Rosser ('16). Into the second overtime, D'Evelyn managed to find the back of the net, ending the game 2-3.
Your Gators play next on Tuesday, September 30th, facing Evergreen HS at 6pm, at the NAAC. Come out and support your Gators!

Your Gators pulled out a win tonight, beating Ft. Lupton 3-2. The Blue Devils struck first, then Kyle Iftodi ('16) brought the score even. Senior Captain Adam Williams then put the Gators ahead. The Blue Devils brought the score back to even at 2-2, on a penalty kick. The Gators put the game away with a penalty kick from Williams ('15).
Your Gators face D'Evelyn in their next conference game on Friday, September 26th, at 4pm, at Lakewood Memorial Field. Come out and support your Gators!
