Gator Men's Soccer fell to Green Mountain Thursday night, 2-3, at the NAAC. Both Gator goals came from Senior Captain Adam Williams.
Your Gators have three games in the coming week: Monday, 9/22, against Golden, 6pm at the NAAC; Wednesday, 9/24, 4pm, at Ft. Lupton, then back to the NAAC on Friday at 4pm to face D'Evelyn. Come out and support your Gators!

2014 SLHS Boys Golf
This year was a good season for SLHS Boys Golf.
The Varsity Team finished 5th overall in the 4A league standings
with a 2nd place team finish in their home tournament
at Heritage Golf Course during the season.
They competed in Regionals this week and finished 8th
with (2) state qualifiers Jeremy Minnick and Andrew Hewitt.
The JV Squad is doing well in the
Gold Crown HS Fall Tournament Series with
(2) tournaments to go SLHS Team 1 is in first place.

SCORE UPDATE FOR SEPT 14-20:
Varsity Soccer defeated Conifer 8-0 in conference opener.
SLHS Cross Country- boys placed 7th and girls placed 8th at the Denver North Viking Invitational on September 15th. On the girls side, Emma Abernethy placed 21st. On the boys side, Ryan Seberg placed 23rd and Trevor Smith placed 25th. JV boys placed 10th as a team.
Football versus Littleton: Varsity (W-38-33), JV (W 42-6) Freshman (L-6-14).
Varsity Softball fell to Valor Christian 2-9.
Varsity Softball defeated Golden 8-0.
JV Softball fell to Golden 10-7.
JV Softball (in their JV tournament) fell to Brighton 6-5, Dakota Ridge 9-2, and Columbing 15-2, and Mountain Vista 20-2, but they won against Ralston Valley 18-3.
Varsity Boys Cross Country placed first at the JFK Commander Cup. JV Boys also placed first. Varsity Girls placed second.
Varsity Softball fell to Green Mountain 3-6.

The Varsity Softball team took on the Golden Demons in a league matchup.
The Gators took the early lead with Madi Schmidt leading off with a double, Julia Henderson sacrificing her to 3rd, and Ana Clouse driving her in to make it 1-0. In the 2nd, the Gators again had leadoff hitter Hannah Rose hitting a double.
Miya Vasquez had a productive out as she grounded to third, courtesy runner Jackie Paik (SB, 2R) advanced on the throw, and scored on the errant attempt to get her at 3rd to make it 2-0. Hannah Rose, in command, struck out the side looking in the bottom of the 2nd. In the 3rd, the Gators led off with Ana Clouse singling, stealing second, and scoring on a passed ball. In the 4th, the Gators surged for 4 runs with singles by Madi Schmidt, Ana Clouse (2-4, 2 SB, 2 R), an RBI single by Samii Garcia, a 2 RBI single by Hannah Rose (2-4, 2 RBI), and an RBI single by Tiffany Vigil (1-3, RBI) to make it 7-0. In the top of the 6th, Maddi Schmidt (3-4, 2 SB, 3R) led off with a single, Emily Williamson (1-2, SB) followed with a single, both advanced on a double steal, and Sammi Garcia drove her in with a sacrifice to make it 8-0. In the bottom of the 6th, the Demons threatened to break up the shutout with a 1 out triple. Shortstop Madi Schmidt made a terrific play from deep in the hole between short and 3rd to check the runner and make the long 6-3 throw, and Myranda Thrash snared a flyball to deep right to preserve the shutout. Hannah Rose gave up only 6 hits and had 5 strikeouts in the win. The Gators improve to 1-2 in the league (2-11 overall).

Men's Soccer made their conference debut tonight at the NAAC, with a decisive win against Conifer 8-0. Your Gators dominated play throughout the game, scoring 4 goals in each half. Gators putting up goals tonight were:
