Your Standley Lake Gators went to the CHSAA 4A State Meet and Excelled!
From the Denver Post, overall, the Gators placed 6th with a score of 167.75 in the Team competition
Tessa Grudle won floor with a 9.625, took 2nd in beam with 9.35 and bars with 9.0, and 7th in vault. Individually she placed 3rd with a score of 36.6!
Hannah Duvall placed 2nd in floor with a 9.6 and 5th in vault with a 9.1. Individually she placed 9th with a score of 34.7.
Celeste Martinez placed 8th in floor with a 9.325.
Congratulations Gators! What a season! What a state meet!
2021 SLAB Scholarships Offered

2020-21 Standley Lake Boosters Club (SLAB) Scholarships
For the academic year 2020-21, the Standley Lake Boosters are pleased to offer four $500 scholarships that will be awarded to graduating SLHS students.
Applications must be submitted to the SLHS office by the 5pm on Thursday May 7, 2021 (amended) in the SLAB mailbox at SLHS or to slhs.boosters@gmail.com. The scholarship recipients will be announced at the Academic and Athletic Awards Ceremony on Monday May 17, 2021 at 7pm.

The applicant must be a Standley Lake High School graduating student, be a member of SLAB*, and must submit the following information :
1) Your name & contact information (phone numbers and address).
2) The institution you plan to attend next year and planned major.
3) Activity and/or sport(s) involvement while a student at Standley Lake High school, including any activity and/or athletic awards and activity and/or athletic achievements.
4) A summary of academic awards, academic achievements, and any other awards along with current weighted and unweighted grade point averages.
5) A list of community service involvement.
6) The applicant should submit the above along with a brief essay on how participation in activities and/or athletics has prepared you for the future or how Standley Lake High School has prepared you for your future.

*SLAB membership is obtained by paying the annual membership fee of $20 for the 2020-21 school year. All household members are covered under a single household membership. All membership dues are utilized for these scholarships.
$10k in Grants requests have been filled!

Update: we have received requests for all $10,000 that was offered from the SLAB Bingo fundraisers. We have awarded these grant requests to Men's Cross Country, Julie & Robert Cassady for teaching supplies, Football, Ladies' Swimming, After Prom, Ladies' Cross Country, Men's Soccer, Gymnastics, Men's Basketball, and Volleyball!
In addition, we have donated $10k to the SLHS library for upgrades and $5k+ for the new scoreboard at the track/football field.
Thanks to all the Standley Lake High School community for all the hard work generating these funds through Bingo!
2020 Gator Pura Vida Bracelets

This year SLHS Boosters was able to partner with Pura Vida for a custom bracelet featuring our school colors. The bracelet is adjustable and can be removed or kept on.
“Pura Vida” is a saying in Costa Rica that is “all about enjoying life’s little pleasures, slowing things down and living life to the fullest.”
Part of the proceeds will benefit the sport or organization of your choice.
Bracelets are available for $6 each on a first-come, first-serve basis. Quantities are limited. Delivery available for $1 via USPS.
Payment will be processed via PayPal NOTE: PayPal login is not required. You can use a debit/credit card without a PayPal login when directed for payment.

2020 Jog In The Bog Virtual

2020 Jog in the Bog has gone Virtual!
***UPDATE - REGISTRATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 5th!!!!****
We are excited to announce the 22nd Annual Jog in the Bog is happening…virtually! Participants will earn their commemorative JITB t-shirt by running, walking, hiking, biking, any physical activity of their choice for a 5K distance at a place/time that works for them during the timeframe of October 3rd- November 15th.
Boosters acknowledges that many teams/clubs/activities are limited in fund raising opportunities this year, so we are keeping our donation back to the groups the same at $15/registration to go directly back to the team, club, activity of the registrants’ choice.
T-shirt distribution will be conducted outdoors shortly after registration deadline, following all social-distancing requirements. Participants will receive further details on this after registration is completed.
