WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE SLHS BOOSTERS CLUB?

The Booster club is a parent-volunteer run organization dedicated to supporting all of the students, coaches and teachers involved in athletics and activities at Standley Lake High School.

 

WHO CAN JOIN THE BOOSTERS CLUB?

The Booster Club is open to anyone connected to Standley Lake High School. Parents, students, grandparents, faculty, neighborhood business owner etc. You do not have to have a student here at Standley Lake to be a member. Any and all community support is greatly appreciated.

 

HOW IS THE BOOSTERS CLUB FUNDED?

The Boosters Club is funded through membership dues, donations from individuals and businesses, and through fundraising activities. The Boosters club also runs the Gator Cafe, located within the high school. All membership dues go toward scholarships for graduating seniors. Additional funds raised go back to the school in the form of support for events such as Gator Games, awards recognition ceremonies, and grants to teams and clubs alike.

 

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

You can decide how much time and what level of involvement you can provide. The Boosters are governed by an Executive Board, which meets monthly to discuss pertinent agenda items.  Please join us for our Booster meetings! These meetings are held the second Tuesday, of every month, at 6:00pm MT in the SLHS Library. You will receive a reminder e-mail prior to the scheduled meeting time. We welcome your ideas, attendance to meetings and your vote in decision-making.

You are also invited to become involved in our fundraising activities through volunteering. It is not a requirement of membership to participate in any way, although your ideas and efforts are sure to make a difference.

ANNUAL BOOSTERS CLUB MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Boosters is proud to offer 3 different annual membership levels. Each level provides different benefits to members for one school year. Boosters memberships cover all family members and allow for one vote at Boosters meetings.
